Larkspur

Tucked away at the base of Mt. Tamalpais, between Corte Madera and Kent Woodlands, picturesque Larkspur has become one of the most sought after places to live in Marin. The downtown, on Magnolia Avenue, retains its quaint feel but has expanded with upscale coffee houses, restaurants and clothing shops. There is a small boutique movie theatre on Magnolia. The commute to the city is 30-45 minutes and it is located central to most of Marin activities.
Larkspur grew from a dairy farming community to a summer resort to the extremely attractive area it is today. Home prices in Larkspur have recently reached nose bleed territory due to the extreme demand and limited inventory of homes.
